The free audit scan

When you paste a website address into the audit, we fetch that page the way a search engine does and read the public HTML. We do not log in, we do not change anything, and we do not need your email to show you the result. The scan on its own is anonymous.

The enquiry form

If you choose to send the form, that is different, and this is the part the page used to describe loosely. We store what you type so we can reply to you. Specifically:

WhatWhyWhere it goes
Name, email, phoneSo we can replyStored in our lead queue (Upstash, EU/US region), emailed to us, and pushed to our internal Telegram
Industry, suburb, who maintains your siteSo the reply is about your situation rather than a generic brochureSame lead record
The site you scanned and its resultsSo we can answer about your actual siteSame lead record
Your note, if you write oneYou told us somethingSame lead record
Campaign tags (utm_source, gclid and similar)So we know which ad or link you came fromSame lead record

We do not sell it, we do not add you to a marketing list off the back of an enquiry, and we do not share it with anyone outside the tools listed above. Email hello@embery.tech to ask for a copy or to have it deleted.

Analytics, only if you allow it

Two tools, both off by default. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, neither script is ever fetched and neither sets a cookie.

We never send your name, email, phone number, suburb, free-text note or the address you scanned into either tool. Analytics events carry counts and category labels only, for example "score bucket 40 to 59" or "industry: trades and home services".

Your choice

You can change your mind at any time, and it takes effect immediately.

Checking…

Your choice is stored in this browser only, under the key embery-analytics-consent. Clearing site data resets it and you will be asked again.

Cookies

The site itself sets no tracking cookies. It stores your light or dark theme preference and your analytics choice in local storage, which never leaves your device. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set their own cookies at that point, and not before.
